Where the heck have I been?

Well, It's been quite a while since I updated this space. I've been busy with quite a bit.

First thing, I was in an accident in November. My back was injured when I was hit by a drunk driver (at 5:30 in the evening) on the way home from work. Long story short, the "gentleman" attempted to run away, I detained him and South Bend's Finest dog-piled me and threw me in the back of a squad car instead of getting me medical help for my injuries. It has taken over two months and wasted a bunch of my money, but the assault charges were dropped. Yippie, fucking, skippy.

SOOOO....I spent Emma's 1st birthday drugged up and basically unaware of what was going on, but apparently it was a good time. Cake was had.

Christmas was a blast for us. Emma really got into opening presents and reacted very well to the overwhelming amount of new stuff. She got a few things that just made the day for her:
A Pillsbury Doughboy (that giggles when you poke him)
The Little People ABC Zoo
and the box set of Firefly (OPK, that was mine, but she really likes that Mal fella.)

OK, I promise to update this real soon with pictures and everything, but break time is about finished, so back to the grind.
